Icon4 Honda CRV 2004 O2 Sensors

My vehicle is reading a code basically saying the "mass air flow sensor" needs to be replaced, but I have been told this vehicle does not have one. I asked around and am told that I need to replace the O2 sensors but am getting 2 different answers on how many O2 sensors it has. So, how many O2 sensors does a 2004 honda crv have?
Background, my vehicle is hard to start, it will turn over for a little bit before it actually starts. It stalled out at a red light and then started back up reluctantly. I parked and let it rest, went to start it back up and it was puttering while I was backing up and barely moved even when pressing all the way down on the gas. I pulled around the parking lot and decided to park again and it died just as I was pulling into the parking spot.

You have an upstream O2 sensor and a downstream O2 sensor. They're kinda pricey, so make sure the diagnosis is correct.

While you might not have a MAF sensor, you probably have a MAP. Give us a code, and we might be able to help.

P0171 System Too Lean (Bank 1)
Vacuum leak? Has any work been done under the hood recently, anything where a vacuum line might have been disconnected? Was the air cleaner removed? Look for a cracked or disconnected vacuum line. Also, check your Intake Air Bypass Control Thermal Valve. They are plastic and break easily when removing the air cleaner. Mine broke and is now disconnected.

^ Good point.

This reminds me years ago when one of my friends had a 2003 CR-V and she brought her car to Jiffy Lube to change her oil. They removed the air cleaner to try to sell a replacement air filter. My friend didn't go for the air filter after she called me before letting them do it. Later that night, I checked my friend's CR-V and found Jiffy Lube had broken part of her air cleaner assembly where a hose connected and left a gaping hole. Jiffy Lube ended up having to order a new air cleaner assembly and replacing it at their costs.
