B20block b16 head timing belt
I’ve tried gates t227 t247 and t184 the 247 is to big and the other 2 are small I have different water pumps that I switched out to try to get a combo that works but nothing yet any recommendations
The proper timing belt would be the one for a GSR or Type R 1.8L VTEC engines. This requires the use of a VTEC water pump, which has 22 teeth... NOT the smaller 19 tooth non-VTEC water pump. I am going from memory here, but I believe the T227 is the B16A belt and that would be way too short... the T184 is the LS/CRV non-VTEC belt, and this would be incorrect also. The T247 IS the belt you need... you just have to use the larger wheeled water pump.
