Default Manual to Automatic

Hey guys/gals,

I have a 2002 Civic DX and threw a rod. I was just gonna do an engine swap and remembered that the manual transmission wasn't in the best of shape. After some thought, I decided to do a complete engine/transmission swap. was thinking about going automatic. It's a stock car, with no bells or whistles. I can get a complete kit from JDM New York, JDM engine depot, or JDM engine zone Engine and transmission. What I was wondering, is, since my car is a manual, is the wiring different? Like, what all would have to be involved to switch it to an automatic.. The car only has 155,000 on the body/frame. so I know it would be a good investment. No rust and the inside is in great shape. I have done my own work on my cars for years,
Any help would be greatly appreciated
