Default Integra disc brake conversion.

Okay, I know I'm gonna get beat up over this, but...lol, let's have it!!
donor car: 94 integra GSR
recipient car: 95 civic DX coupe
I want to do a full disc conversion.I have done research and read the threads. Still can't find the info I'm looking for. I need to know what all of the front brakes? Does the integrated have larger front calipers? Can someone give me a list of all the parts I need to do a legit conversion? I know I can use the rear disc's off the teg as a complete bolt on. I've tried to find the brake specs on each car, thanks guys and gals..

You have two options for the front...

Use 96-00 Civic EX/Si knuckles, Civic EX/Si, or Integra (non-R) calipers and rotors in the front, or your choice of Integra upgrades.

or

keep your knuckles, use the Fastbrakes 11" upgrade for 9.5" Civic knuckles, along with non-R Integra calipers.

No, you do not. Brake feel and pedal effort will improve if you use the teg MC and booster.

cheap but works:
dx is 9.5 or something front
integra / ex 92-00 10.2 or something

whole front knuckle swap bam done (since u got)
just get blank cheap rotors
Get some hawk pads

or upgrade to bigger but gets costly with jrcivic1 recommendation

The 96-00 Civic knuckles are ~1/2" shorter than the 92-95 Civic/Integra Knuckles. You can use the newer Civic knuckles on the older cars and gain some shock tower clearance, but you really shouldn't go the other way.

Off subject but if it’s taller does that effect the spring rates between the civic and teg? Do I need to use the teg springs? I’ve done a b18b1 swap.

I got the entire swap for 300$, I feel that’s a fair price. Did I get ripped off. What y’all think?

No. it only affects the angle of the upper control arm and height of the upper ball joint. The spring is still attached to the lower arm in the same place.

You can go a little stiffer on the front sprigs to make up for the b engine. Maybe 50lbs-in stiffer. Use Civic EX/Si knuckles, or the Fastbrakes brackets, either way.

Just read this for the first time here. Any significant geometry changes when you do this? My car could also use some improved shock tower clearance with the aftermarket UCAs.

I think the geo changes are negligible but I don’t know for sure. Might be nice combined with an extended LBJ, you’d effectively just be lowering the car by moving the whole knuckle upward.

i don’t think I’d go out of my way for that extra clearance, but maybe something to think about if you’re already swapping knuckles…

Sorry to thread jack but this pertains to the same topic and I didn't want to make another thread.

I have 97 ek hatch. If i take the whole rear discs off integra do I use my ek upper control arms and rear lower control arms? how about the trailing arm bushing? buy for ek or integra?

Thanks

Correct. Trailing arm bushings are the same as well. The trailing arm isn't actually any different. It's just the spindle.
