Slotted Rotors be Resurfaced??
I getting conflicting information on whether slotted rotors can be turned or not.
Called a shop they said they resurface rotors but they cannot do slotted ones because it will break their machine.
Has anyone had this issue?
Is there a specific resurface machine that is needed to turn slotted rotors?

No, they just dont know what they are doing. Machinists call it "interrupted cut", and are not afraid of it. Inexperienced mechanics dont know what to do, and shop managers who have never turned a wrench but think they know everything because they are around it all day long... are even worse.
The rotors need to be dial indicated during setup (should do this regardless), and you have to take small cuts. I always did them .002 at a time. You can try bringing them to a local machine shop. Might cost a little more, but they'll do it right
