What's up peeps..new to the forum but been a Honda fan since I was 15...Quick question! Would a 98 V6 accord tranny fit my 01 J30A1? Are all the connections the same? Any issues or modifying??

 

In terms of doing this swap, I would not waste your time with an auto trans from a 98. I also have an '01 Accord with a J30A1. I would probably look into a used tranny from another '01/'02. '00 onward had a slight revision for the B7XA trannies that made them..."slightly" more reliable. I'm probably gonna just get a remanufactured tranny for mine. Let me know what you decide to do though! Maybe we could help each other out?
