It's been many years since I've been on here and quite a few cars ago. But I figured I would start a build thread for my 1992 civic hatchback. A little back story on the car, I was like 18 or 19 sold a nice em1 the guy gave 4500 and this eg hatchback to make it back home. It was a rough ride back to Tennessee from Leesburg Alabama. I was young didn't have much money it had a d15b7 that smoked like crazy and used 3Qt of oil a week. I managed to find a few pictures of it before I sold it. That's as far as I got was ff1s and some ls meshes. But the story doesn't end there. Comments are welcomed please. I'll be post every night for the next year or so.

This was the day before i sold it over 6 years ago.

So back to the story. I was at work 6 years later, on lunch break I was on Facebook and seen the car on **** a local car group page. I messaged the guy he wanted like 500 bucks for it. I thought it was the one I sold 6 years earlier do to a few things. So I got him to send me a few more pictures of it. This is what I got, tell me if yall see anything familiar in the pictures.

 

So after a few messages we agreed on a price of 500 bucks with a clean tn title. I got off work grabbed a truck and trailer headed to clarksville tn close to the ky state line. After getting up there I noticed the title was signed about 20 times and was a out of state title with my name on it. So he was at work already and didn't answer the phone. I loaded the car up anyway and didn't leave the money just yet. I sent him a few text and we agreed to meet up after he got of work in nashville. Very long story short paid 200 for the car because of the title.

So the first thing was to get this thing cleaned out it was nasty. Someone also put on some lock lug nuts and I didn't have the key for them

 

So after getting the interior cleaned up a little, I noticed some cut the transmission mount off. So I had a b17 block laying around and a empty hydro transmission case. My buddy just k swapped his rhd so I bought his old mount.

 

You can always use bolt extractors to remove those lock lugs. Probably the easiest way to pull em off if you haven't already.

 

I got the lugs off pita. So I decided I wanted to cage it.

I got the rhd firewall in place and welded up so i could move the car. Finally got a house with a garage. so she will be getting a lot more attention very shortly.
