NAV Clock displays Jan-1 constantly
My 2010 Ridgeline is the best vehicle I have ever owned. It serves me very well as a daily driver, pulls my 16-ft RV and 21-ft boat and plows the driveway. 170K miles and just about consumes a qt of oil before oil changes. Still gets 19-20mpg on the highway. Coming up on its 12th birthday, small annoyances are popping up here and there. All have been solvable, just showing its age.
Latest puzzler is the clock display on the stock radio and stock NAV screen. Issue showed up on/about New Years Day. The radio clock is off by one hour - as if Day Light setting is ignored. The NAV clock display is completely wrong. It displays Jan-1 always and seems to begin at 10:15 whenever the engine is started. Vehicle battery is good, cable connections are good. Unable in influence the clock from the setup screens on the LCD touch panel. If I try to use the +/- to set the clock the screen jumps to a DST screen. I have never needed to set the time on the clocks, I believe time setting it is automatically determined via GPS. All other GPS functions appear normal and functioning.
Based on when this happened (new years) it sort of feels like a Y2K type software bug. Off hand I don't know what version of NAV DVD I have but it has not been upgraded in 5 years or so.
Anyone else experiencing this issue?
Thanks for looking.
