Default Negative/positive wire in car.

Alright guys
first of all I’m a newB talking bout this electrical wiring stuff but I’m really curious bout this .
-took a test light probe it to positive of the battery terminal and the test light if touches negative it would light it up as blue , if you probe it to negative terminal and test anything which is positive it would becomes red .
So here’s the problem I took a test light probe it to positive of the battery terminal and then tested almost all of my sensors *tps , maf , iacv ,intake temp ,thermo sens* ( is all i could remember i actually tested almost all the sensors including my lamp as well ) and POOF all of them show blue that means is negative .
*Please note that i did all of this with the car off key is not plug into ignition switch as well = everything is off. *
I didn’t belive it so I took a DMM and tested all of it with 20V on the DMM and one lead probe to the Positive terminal of the battery and another lead i just poke at everywhere of the sensor socket unplugged and i got to read battery voltage at any pin from any socket.
I thought my car has some weird problems so i went to test out some few cars even brand new car as well and it all shows the same thing 😅😅😅

If i put my car to On/Acc position then i put my test
light probe it to negative of Battery terminal and a lead to poke at any pin which is positive it would light up,become red and if i probe it back to positive and poke the lead back to the same exact pin it will still be blue 😂

The issue here - is this supposed to be normal?
Can anyone clarify it ? Like why is everything grounded/negative wire ? Or is my DMM broken?

For example TPS wire the yellow/blue is a 5v reference right ? But when i put a positive lead probe to battery positive terminal and a black negative lead probe to the YLW/BLU wire it does show me battery voltage tho.. shouldn’t it be nothing as positive and positive will not send out reading isn’t?

any help would be appreciated . I’m a newB guys so please do not get angry .

Are you having any electrical problems with the car?

nopee not at all .. everything is fine
i mean i tested many of the cars with my dmm and it’s the same i could get battery volt reading by just placing a positive lead on the battery pos terminal and a negative at any socket from the car .
