Default Tps wiring issue . Civic EK96 sedan b16a

Okay guys

I tried checking my tps 5v reference wire(yellow) and i got 5.11 voltage is this normal? Because i tried on other civic, the reading i get is either 5v or 5.01 v . I’m getting 5.11v with this civic .

i checked continuity/diode on my ground wire (green) it beeps when the car is in off position but it doesn’t beep when i put the key in On position.
i tried on other civic they do beep even when in on position .

lastly , i removed my socket from my tps sensor and tested the red wire (signal) without plugging in to the tps i had 0.07 signal volt is this normal?

Someone please help me 🙏

Where are you checking for voltage exactly?

With the ignition off and sensor disconnected you should see ~5v between terminal 1(GRN/BLK) and 3(YEL/BLU) of the TPS plug on the harness.

With the ignition off and sensor disconnected you should see 0.5 - 0.9kΩ resistance between prong 1 and 2 of the sensor.

With the ignition off and sensor disconnected you should see 3.6 - 5.4kΩ resistance between prong 2 and 3 of the sensor.

With the ignition ON and sensor connected you should see .5v between D1(RED/BLK) and D11(GRN/BLK) of the 16-pin connector at the ECU.

I check the voltage with a DMM
-negative lead(Black) connected to the battery negative terminal
- a positive lead from my DMM to the yellow wire(Positive/5v reference ) with the socket unplugged I tested it both way (from battery and from the GRN/BLK ) from battery I got 5.11V & from the GRN/BLK wire i got 5.07v

well i believe if you want to check for voltage from the 5v reference & signal wire you will have to turn the key to on/acc position

so the problem is with ignition on and socket unplugged i got a 5.11/5.07V at the yellow/blue wire
i got 0.05v reading at the signal wire with the socket unplugged as well . I just wanted to ask is this normal for the volt reference?
because i tested other civics they are at 5.00/5.01/5.02 .
