Default Prelude drag suspension help

Building a a 500hp 97 prelude for drag racing only, any suspension ideas? I keep hearing 18k rear springs and 12k front or 1000lb rear 4-600lb fronts. I can’t find any kits like this. Please help.

You're not going to find any kits like that anywhere. Consumer kits are generally for "comfortable" street driving. You will have to build your own setup. You can find 2.5" diameter springs in any spring rate and length(most Hondas use 8") you need online but you will still need to source the coilover sleeves and adjustable shocks. If you want to extend the life of the shocks then extended top hats will help but are not required.

From what I have dealt with, anything based on a Koni yellow shock is a good start, I think that the Ground Control Coilovers you can get different spring rates made easily.
your bigger issues, get a traction bar setup, and swap out all of the suspension bushing for super hard or solid, and make sure all of the ball joints are in great shape, as you are wanting to eliminate any flex or movement that is not forward energy.
You are also going to need to look at your knuckles and hubs in regards to what wheels you plan to run, as your wheel tire setup is going to matter more than suspension to be honest.

Ya I’ve been researching a bit, I think I like the ground control options. Right now I’ve got bfg drag radials 205/55/16. I think I’m going to end up with vms drag wheels and 24.5/8.5/15 after I do some test and tune. I don’t think I’ll have enough traction. I do have an innovative traction bar up front though.
