96 Civic Fuel Pump Doesn’t Always Prime
96 civic stock engine. I removed some hacked up alarm job and replaced the ignition switch wiring. Before that, and after, the fuel pump doesn’t prime (relay doesn’t click either) when trying to start. It WILL crank.
after about 15 minutes of going to ON back and forth, the relay clicks and pump primes. Then it fired up no problem. I can shut it off and start again immediately.
what would cause the relay to not click and fuel pump to not prime sporadically? I checked the relay harness and jumped the pins to make the pump prime, same goes for the ignition pins. I even checked the ECU and no solder joints look cracked. The inside of the relay looks fine as well.
