I currently have 17 X 7.9 rims but they make a knocking sound when I make a turn. What is the correct size rim for the EP3?

 

Stock is 15x6 +45mm.

 

What is the offset of the 17" wheel?

 

7.9 but I wonder if it’s because I converted it to a 5 lung which is from a Rsx type S

 

Wheels and tires don't usually create a knocking sound when turning. Are you sure they are hitting something? Could be ball joints, or sway bar end links, strut tops, or any number of other things. I would do some investigating.

7.9mm of offset or is the wheel 7.9in wide? Should be casting/forging marks on the back side of the wheel with all the details. 7.9 would be an odd size.
