Default 88 CRX DX Code 4 still after new dizzy?

I have a 1988 CRX DX auto and it was giving me Code 4 for crank angle sensor. It would stall out after I would drive for about an hour. I replaced the distributor with a new one from autozone and now it stalls out faster than it did before (around 10 mins after turning on) and still gives me Code 4. It’s still a stock b15 and stock wiring harness, it’s just a daily with 106k miles. I also just replaced the oxygen sensor at the same time if that could do anything.

Was that the only code you were getting? Have you checked the grounds? Confirmed that there's no issues with the harness?

I have yet to check that. But yea that’s the only code I’m getting.

well bingo!!
hehe most people think that a code 4 is only for the crank angle sensor
but thats where most people are wrong

truth is that both crank sensors and o2 sensors all work together
on the same readings

so since you replaced your o2 sensor
and now you have the code 4
then the sensor you used is either not plugged it right
the wiring going to it has a short = cracked wiring
or the new sensor just came out bad out of the box

now for your stalling problem
thats not related one bit
if your car is stalling after 10 minutes of running then your problem is low idle on the warm up

to fix this you
clean your throttle body
get a clean air filter
and second you raise your idle using the idle screw if afterwards the idle is still too low after the car is warmed up

i hope this is helpful
were all here to help
