Front End Problems (98 Accord, v6)
My daughter has a old 98 Accors V6. 220k, engine itself runs like a top, a couple minor leaks on my to-do list but over all it runs great.
Issues that have developed.
Any tips? I'm leaning on CV and wheel bearings but who knows. I just put the car up on jacks and am going to tear into it looking for worn stuff.
(I do all my own car work, but its mostly on my two Cummins powered Rams, wife's and my own, mostly on mine since its older. I got the tires off and went, "welp, this isn't no straight axel" lol.)
Issues that have developed.
- Lots of front end noise, pops creaks, clunks, mostly moving over bumps
- Torque steering, pulls to left when acceleration harder than "babying it"
- Pulls to right when hitting the breaks a little harder than normal daily stuff
- seems to have memory steering, if you turn right it just kinda holds right until you correct it.
- Car really did become un-driveable and not safe, so its on jacks for her Christmas break.
