I've been away for awhile since my 1995 Honda Accord V6 has been holding up well until just recently. Now i have a couple of idiosyncrasies that are starting to bug me: 1) something periodically intermittently emits a high pitched whine when accelerating; and 2) transmission fluid is leaking to some 4th dimension (nothing on the ground)

Had anyone had either of these two issues? I've gone through a case of Honda ATF (and since i'm not sure where to get more) so I figured I should see if anyone has any ideas on the above two items and where to get the Honda ATF at a good price.

Thanks in advance for any thoughts (and yes the car still leaks oil)

Update: Still do not know where the transmission fluid leak may be, but i do have transmission fluid. I called a local dealer and their price was about as good as I could get on Amazon and they had it in stock. So, if you need the transmission fluid, call and ask the price. I was pleasantly surprised that each quart was ~$9.

 

So, i have been living with the leaky transmission and i finally ran out of the case of transmission fluid i purchased. The fluid finally started showing up on the ground, but outboard of the transmission. we are trying to replace the transaxle seals, we'll see if this works.

 

Any good news on this?

 

[update] we replaced the seals and so far, no leak. but we now have other issues (P0730 code)
