chipped p28 ecu problems (HELP)
i recently got a chipped p28 but car cranks but doesn’t turn over.. i was told it probably wasn’t tuned to my car…but to me it doesn’t seem like it’s turning the fuel pump on. ( i could be wrong) but if i’m not.. is the ecu fucked?
If you do not hear the fuel pump prime when the key is turned to "ON"... there is either a problem with the ECU itself OR the programming on the chip. Try to start your car with a KNOWN GOOD ECU... and if it cranks, you at least know that the issue isn't your car... it is your chipped P28.

Could be totally F'd... could be repairable... could be a bad chip... you will have to send it off to someone who specializes in these things and see what they have to say. You do not have any way of diagnosing the problem yourself. Have you taken the lid off and looked inside to see if there is any damage to the ECU board... like burned spots or blown/blistered components... or damaged traces ? Is the notch in the chip facing toward the center of the ECU ?
