i have been searching for a good cat back exhaust for my 97 Honda Del Sol Vtec. I came across the Tanabe revel Medalion Tourin https://www.autohance.com/tanabe-t70...iABEgIIi_D_BwE. but all the sights list it for 92-95.

I was wondering if there was a difference between the 92-95 and the 96-97?

 

Mechanically, with respect to the exhaust system, the VTEC Del Sol should be very similar for all models between '93-97. There is a possibility that the '96-97 model's CAT is slightly different in length... and of course it has the secondary O2 sensor installed in it. I think where the major fitment issue differs is only on the "S" (non-VTEC) model because the Cats are dramatically different.

 

A lot of companies use the same exhaust for 92-00 coupe/sedans.

 

True, but those don't fit a Del Sol. The Del Sol fitment is unique, so what fits a Civic, regardless of how many doors it has, matters not.
