I NEED SOME HELP PLEASE !!!!
Okay so I'll try and make this short and to the point I have a 2000 Prelude with an h22 this guy was going to try to wire in my MSD blaster coil too and I wasn't there so what ended up happening was when he was done I started it and it ran for about 10 seconds and then turned off and won't start again I checked his wiring and from the external coil on the Prelude motor there's the yellow and black and then the yellow and then the green or blue whatever the yellow and black and yellow are supposed to be the positive and then the blue or green is the negative so he put the yellow to the positive on the coil and then the yellow and black to the negative and then the blue or green to the negative rather than two positives he had two negatives and now my car won't start can anybody tell me or point me into the direction of what it could have fried no fuses are blown I put in a different ECU nothing any help is totally appreciated
I recalled my experience of installed a MSD spark plug wires in m 1992 Prelude as well. The MSD wire is thicker than OEM black wire, so I was thinking to have better performance (higher current). Years later, I run into issue with 5 years of car repair that needed to remove the spark plug wires.
I think your issue is similar to mine. Let me straight to my point, and my poor experience.
The wiring crimp at both end of the spark wire is weak. The wiring crimp end is "grabbing" the silicon wire too hard. After years of "bending," the wiring end become loose, and not visible as it covered by the rubber cover.
To confirm this, re-install the stock OEM spark wire, and the problem will be clear that it is one of the spark plug wiring
