93 Accord backfires, idles like a Harley.
93 Accord EX 5 speed. EGR, MAP and fuel filter replaced in October, cleaned passages/IAC/Fast idle valve. August was a new clutch and rear main.
I started the car cold to head about 6 blocks to a store. Got in, got out, car started and drove fine for a few blocks. Accelerated fine from a stop light but shifting from first to second it jerked a few times coming into second. I thought I hadn't applied enough gas but pressing into the pedal just made a weird vibration in my feet. Music off as I coasted in neutral again to the next blocks stop sign. At the stop I rolled down the window and the car sounded like it should have been entering a pod race on Tatooine. It was able to jerk the next couple blocks home but when I got there it died. It turned over fine but immediately started chugging. I pressed the gas to what would be around 2k-3k but it sounded like it was hitting the red, even though the needle wasn't passing 2k. It backfired and died doing that two times, now it just turns over and immediately dies. Tried no gas like normal, pedal to the floor for the injectors as well as medium gas during startup. Just dies after turning over.
I'm terrible at diagnosing, I'm wondering if anyone has thoughts that the Haynes manual is not pointing me at. I was thinking to do the EGR process again (EGR, IAC, Fast idle valve, fuel rail, throttle body and plenum) as well as the spark plugs/distributor. Cleaning and inspecting, not replacing again so soon.

A weak Oxygen Sensor can cause those symptoms in these Accords. And on OBD1, the condition placing a code in the computer is not guaranteed. That car only has one O2 sensor. You should check it.
