Default Differences between 90-91 USDM clusters

What's the difference between revision 2P and 3P hatchback / CRX clusters? These numbers come from the printed circuit on the back in the lower right-hand corner.

A 2P cluster:

A 3P cluster:

Ignore the UKDM gauge swap in the first picture. What I'm looking at are the warning lights underneath the fuel gauge. The 2P cluster has an individual DOOR and SEAT BELT light right below, whereas the 3P cluster has a DOOR / SEAT BELT combination warning light, plus a separate SEAT BELT light. What's the story with that? Has anyone switched from one to another and noticed a difference? In the 3P cluster, do both warning lights come on if you unbuckle your seat belt? Do they behave any differently whatsoever, and is there a "better" choice assuming you have both?
