Default K24 differences in Air Assist Control Solenoid Valves-WHY?

I'm new to vTechs but not to building engines, suspensions for decades.

Swapping my daughters 2003 CRV 2.4 vTech with an 06 engine 2.4 vTech (both UK engines) and we broke the plastic vacuum line off the
Air Assist Control Solenoid Valve.

Honda lists it but it comes with the Water Distribution Pipe for $160 for the 02-06 years
Just the Air Assist Control Solenoid Valve (w/o the housing) isn't listed for the 02-06. Why can't you find JUST the valve for these years?

Can we buy/swap in the 2007-11 Air Assist Control Solenoid Valve from these years and it fits/works for $130 bucks cheaper? (she's on a budget).

Appreciate the help. Not one parts store in our town lists any. No bone yards locally either...

Almost done swapping it in and now this.

Thanks

Wait 2006? In the US market the 05+ went to DBW and ditched that valve.

Tested it and it activates by closing the valve at higher temps (150+F).

Didn't know if the earlier civics were the same or not.

Will R&R.

Looks like the part number for the 07 is 36281-RTA-003. This part is used in the US market in the 07-11 Civic SI, 06-11 Element, 07-09 CR-V, 06-07 Accord, and 06-08 TSX. I would bet that valve is compatible with the 02-06 CR-V.

We have the UK series. The '06 engine we swapped in also has the valve. Pics look like the same unit. I was concerned that maybe they operated at different temps possibly?? Anyway, until we can find one, I cleaned it, used plastic epoxy, slid a 3/8" nut over for more support and it's good till we find a "new/old" one.

Hello, how did you clean it? Intake/carb cleaner, and compressed air? I, too, for the life cannot find a reputable company that makes it, besides, OEM. If I can just clean it like you do on an IAC valve, I will, as my Element has 225k miles on it. Thx
