outer tie rod adjusment - alignment question
Hi,
when i took off my outer tie rod i measured the distance and number of turns it took to take off the outer tie rods.
The thing is i may have spun it in the wrong number.. for example instead of 13 turns i might have only done 10 turns. and instead of 3" from the inner tie rod i might set it to 2.5".. (just an example)
If i take it get a wheel alignment, will they adjust that for me? What should i do at this point?

That is part of an alignment. Get it reasonably close. If it is way out it will eat tires and drive like garbage but it will get your around the block to the shop for an alignment.
