I am looking into an Insight. This is very early in my search. I have not even test driven one yet.

What are the differences btween the 00, 01, 02 and 03 models?

Are the differences on the 03 worth buying new?

What are the pitfalls of buying a used insight?

Do they make a CAI for the Insight if so does it help?

What if any performance parts are avaliable. I know there will not be any to make it faster but are there any to help with handling and economy?

I have found afew websites like this one and mixedpower.com but are there any good Insight dedicated forums and sites?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the only major differences are the color selections.

Used Insights are very affordable. I've seen many around $10k-$12k

I know AEM doesn't make a CAI for the insight. I don't know how the piping would be routed. there is not much room.

This car is tweaked to the max by Honda. I wouldn't touch it. Anything you do will only get you worse gas mileage.
