I got a 98 civic cx model im working on my front suspension looking to see if I can change the knuckle/spindle from a 99 -00 civic ex model spindle/knuckle on my hatch with ex calipers and and rotors I was told the cx model is a thinner spindle/knuckle that would be an upgrade I'm doing new hubs and new front upper control arms and lower would I have to get ex model lower control arms

 

You should not need new LCAs. All 96-00 civics, save for the CTR share the same LCA. There's some interchangeability info listed on the brake upgrade thread.
