PLEASE HELP!! Car cranking issue 95 civic Z6
Hi,
im having a problem with my 95 civic, I originally thought the starter was bad because it sounded like it wasn’t engaging with the flywheel..after replacing the starter the sound was exactly the same.(as if the flywheel spins freely but the engine doesn’t turn)or if there was no compression..
the engine does crank..
the pic below is the new starter..attached is a video
any ideas?

Did you make two accounts and post twice about this 95? ej1tenoch? Both ip's point to Michigan, same city too.
Since the starter is working, now you need to check compression, spark quality and fuel.

My son made a second account, we will delete that one..
I will check compression today, then I will check timing in case the belt jumped timing for some reason..
