Hi all, this is my first post on this forum so sorry for any issues. I have a 95 civic and just replaced the starter today. I replaced it because it wound up but it sounded as if it wasn't engaging the flex plate. Thinking the solenoid was dead I got a new one but it's having the same problem. Rust on the teeth indicates that it is in fact engaging so I'm not sure of the problem.

Could it be a wiring issue?
