Best spray to prevent future rust?
Hello, im doing my first ever partial suspension rebuild.
I have a 2007 Honda Civic LX.
Im currently installing many brand new components.. the lower control arm, outer tie rod, steering knuckle, wheel bearings and wheel hubs.
My question, is there something i can use to prevent the extreme rust build up. The car has lived in an area where it accumulates a ton of rust.
I dont want it to rust as bad as it did before.
If there is a good rust prevention spray then whats the best one AND should i just go crazy and spray all the parts all around or should i be careful in certain areas or just spray in certain areas?
I really wish to not have the steering knuckle rust up as crazy.. if theres a spray is it okay to spray the whole thing since its all just one big metal piece?
Would it be okay to spray whole outer tie rod? Should i avoid the threading?
any tips on the hubs and bearings?
thanks
