Icon5 Anybody have any experience with the crate engines from JEGS?

https://www.jegs.com/i/ATK+Engines/0...IaAm6zEALw_wcB

Since finding a head in good condition these days is so hard, I've been thinking about buying one of these, as they have the b18c1/c5 available. Just wanted to see if anyone has any experience with the motors/company and can let me know anything about them?

Thanks.

Edit: Sorry if I posted this in the wrong sub-forum.

You have to send back a "buildable" core for that price. Can you purchase it without a core ?

I'd be willing to pay the core charge. Anybody know anyone or have any personal experience with these motors/company?

If you do, might as well go with a C5 for the extra $400

Oh definitely! Still a little hesitant though, as I haven't been able to find any kind of reviews on them. Good or bad.

I think as long as you break it in properly it should be fine! See if you can obtain any info on the machine shop that does the machine work and assembly. These swaps are getting more rare and i bet these wont be available at some point from this site. The price is not bad considering I've seen used swaps go for these prices.
