Odyssey VSA effecting TPMS and pressure??
Had 4 new tires installed with alignment at a Honda dealership. 20 miles later the TPMS warning came on. Brought it back. They could not figure out the problem - said TPMS’s read ok, but can’t load them into the system - they blamed their tool - said the tpms tool wasn’t working right n asked me to bring it back tomorrow. Next day when I started the car (to bring it back in), instead of the TPMS warning flashing, it was now the Tire Pressure warning flashing. Car needs 35psi. Every tire was at 40psi. I set them at 35psi but the flashing n chiming continued. I left the car with them. They called end of day saying it’s the VSA module that’s bad n they are ordering one.
From what I researched, it doesn’t look like the VSA module has ANYTHING to do with TPMS or tire pressure. Am I right? Are they screwing with me? Cud their tool-gone-crazy fried the VSA module? But still, why would that effect the TPMS?

What year Odyssey? I believe they went to indirect tire pressure monitoring at some point. Meaning no sensors in the wheel and they measure relative pressures via rotational speed of each wheel inside the VSA module.
What they are saying is plausible. Their TPMS relearn tool wouldn't have worked if there are no sensors in the wheels to learn.
Also shame on the dealership for not knowing this.

warnings at all…. then back to static TPMS Warning…. It’s like “what’s it gonna say this time?” Also… if I didn’t know any better, I would say it’s handling like it seriously needs an alignment. (They just did one with the new tires). Steers a little like a boat, and when turning, it sorta digs into the the turn as I turn.
