Hey guys I got a 2001 civic with a very strange orange cable that connects from the battery to the motor. I got a new battery for it but it keeps draining if I let it sit for a couple days. I believe the perpetrator is that orange cable anyone know what it is? I just want to use the car for a bit to learn to drive stick. Bad photo but its all I got. Oh also car wont start without it, it will turn over but engine wont fire. I just wanna learn with this beater before I get a nice stick car.

 

Isn't that special. Maybe it has a failed main relay and that is how someone provided power to the coils and injectors? Pop that cover off and send a picture of the wire that is spliced into.
