Default Aftermarket stereo not working

Hey guys, I posted this in the Audi section but didn’t get much help so decided I’d post here but anyway, need a bit of Help, I have a 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe, just got a double din aftermarket stereo, a Blaupunkt Dakota BP800 Play. Installed it with a Red Wolf Stereo Adapter which was literally plug and play. But it never turned on. I’ve been sitting here just wondering why it’s not working. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS Audio electronics is like my least favored skill when it comes to cars so I’ll need any help I can get so bear with me on this 😂

You should have constant +12v on the radio yellow wire. If not, there is a 7.5A fuse in the under hood fuse box to check. You should have +12v on the radio red wire. If not, there is a 10A fuse in the under dash fuse box to check. If those all check out, make sure the ground is good (radio black wire) and the fuse on the radio itself is good.

yes I did but I am not that well with stuff like this 😂
I checked the fuses under the dash so I guess that wasn’t the spot to look

so I have those wires but if you look up that red dragon adapter I have it just plugs to the Honda connection straight to the stereo. There was no splicing required

Are the wires on the adapter not different colors?

this is the adapter. They are different colors but it’s LITERALLY plug and play. It plugged right into the stereo and nothing happened. I’m going to check the Fuses tomorrow and I’m hoping that’s what’s wrong
