Hey guys I’ve got a 98 crv 5 speed, having some issues with the cars idle once it’s at operating temp. Runs fine when it’s cold and starts no problem but once it’s warm is idles rough and spuders. Any ideas what could be going on?

 

Is there a check engine light? Is the engine running good otherwise?

I would start with the Idle Air Control Valve (IACV) and Fast Idle Thermo Valve (FITV). Remove, clean, screw FITV down until it stops. There are some good threads on here for doing this, but it may take some searching to find them.

Those are a good place to start with idle issues. But it could be a lot of things. Electrical issues can get worse as temperatures rise. So can vacuum leaks.
