I am new to Hondas in general. I had a 2004 Accord that had no issues, no mods. Nice commuter. All I did was replace a starter. Simple. I recently bought a 2003 Civic with the 1.7 liter, all stock. I got it for the commute. After about a month I heard a small fluttering noise from the engine bay. It would get louder when I accelerated. The volume has increased a little. I may have lost a little power also. I initially thought it the belts but the noise is not coming from that area. It seems t0 be coming from the valve cover area. What do yall think, Valve job?
