I have 2 identical honda accords
Need some help. I have 2 identical 2003 honda accords. 1 has no problem starting because I havethe original key fob. The 2nd one. My ex lost the micro scopic chip that goes into the key. I was wondering if i can take the whole chipped key sysytem out of the 1st honda and put it in the 2nd one will I have to program the key car still. I just need the 2nd one to be able to be moved and the put the parts back in the original 1st honda. Is this possible?
If you move the immobilizer antenna, the ring around the ignition switch, AND the PCM then yes you should be able to start and move the car with the missing immobilizer key.
Tape the keys back to back so the immobilizer antenna can read the chip while the key cut for the ignition cylinder turns the ignition.
