I want to rebuild this honda civic eg4, but i don't really know where to start? The car's rear is rolling however the front has no subframe. I want the car to have some form of power steering (electric prefered). I would have to rebuild the interior, engine bay. Would it be possible to run this car on a stock ecu? or aftermarket? Most importantly where would i find parts? like subframe, interior, bumpers, 1/4 panels, doors. Etc Thoughts?

 

It looks like a pretty decent shell. I would clean it all first. Take everything out of the back so you can inspect and seal the rear shell to help prolong from the typical rear fender rust. Looks like the rubber lips were already pulled from the rear fenders, that helps to prevent the rust. Then look at engine choices and go from there. At least that's how I'd go about it.

Oh, I'd also research what would be needed to convert to LHD. I personally am not a fan of RHD on North American streets. But that again is me. Also parts are more readily available. This also assumes you are in North America.....

 

Well for sure you will need a RHD Dash at minimum. I think you could use a power steering rack from US models but that could possibly require you to switch the subframe as well.
The interior left front door I'm curious to see if the US model driver's door should suffice unless you want to be taxed $$$ for RHD parts. Same for the right-side door. COuld use a US Passenger door but you will need the RHD Master switch. The ECU can be any from the EG or Hondata.
Oh and the rear lift gate could come from any 92-95 Hatch.
