Hey, i have a 2007 Honda Civic. Trying to take off the brake drum. Does anyone know what size bolt i should get to remove those tight rusty brake drums? Thanks

 

M8 x 1.25 (1.25 is the thread pitch).

Length can be 25mm or more

 

thats strange, i have an M8x1.25x35MM and when i stuck it in the hole it was very loose. I did not really inject it in hard. i just kinda of pushed it on but it seemed to be very lose. ill probably take a pic soon

 

 

Thanks! i was able to get the drum off by hammering it. However, it was pretty weird.. if you look at the pictures below you can see the thread hole was small. The bolt in the hand was an M8x1.25mmx35mm. Was the actual thread more further in? Or was my drum different? It seemed an M11 was the actual size when i tried threading it in.

 

The drum may be an aftermarket where the holes are not OEM specs.
