I got in my car today to go to work it shifted fine once. then at the first stop light when I stepped on the gas it immediately shifted to second hard, then after that it would not start out from first only second. it does not slip.
Any ideas? Second car, but, I need it to go to work.

Have you checked your tranny fluid? It could be anything from a clogged transmission filter to needs oil change or it can be you transmission control solenoid. If your fluid and filter are good then it can be your solenoid (it’s the one with the 2 silo looking things on top of your transmission) around the female O2 sensor wires. It’s really simple to replace and pretty cheap if you look online. Don’t go to autozone tho cuz they’re crazy overpriced.
