Hey guys , new to the Honda forum and already asking for advice. I bought a 2003 Honda Civic coupe last month for commuting to work. It has 127000 miles on it and seems to be good. I want to keep it up and running until 300000. About two weeks ago, the motor started a fluttering noise, especially when I accelerate. It may have lost a little bit of power also. I thought it was the belts or pulleys but the noise seems to come mainly from middle of the valve cover. What do y'all think? Head gasket leak or worse? I am a decent mechanic but a terrible diagnostic tech.
