Connecting Rods for F22
How much is a little bit of boost? Stock rods have been shown to hold up just fine with 400whp daily driven. OEM pistons and a good tune are the real week point in the stock block.
Basically any H beam on the market with at least an authentic ARP 8740 bolt will be fine. If you plan to rev it above 8k then opt for ARP 2000s at least.
F22/H23A1 rods are the same so that may help you in your search.
Also I definitely would not recommend 400whp on stock rods. My experience with 10 years of boosted setups and a lot of single cam experimentation showed me that it's a total crapshoot after 300whp. Typically a stock rod will come flying out sub 350whp.

Thank you to both of you!!! I just don’t know if I should just get new rods while I’m in there or just slap the stick ones in. But also, since I’m new, what are some good web sites to order from or where could I get affordable parts for a motor? I don’t know which sites are BS or reliable.
I meant like somewhere between 7-15lbs of boost. Im not lookin to gap every vehicle out there. just a little more power because my car is gutless and this is something im interested in.
