1996 Accord ABS light/problems
Dear Experts,
I have a 1996 Honda Accord
2.2 VTEC
275K miles
Earlier this year in the spring, the
ABS light would come on. I noticed
that the ABS brake fluid was low.
After filling it, the ABS light went away.
This fall, I noticed that the ABS
kept making noise. When starting.
When driving. Even when running.
Or even when stopped
Filled the ABS reservoir again.
Still had the noise.
And this weekend, the ABS light
came on, and would not shut off.
So I've been researching on ABS, reading webpages,
and looking at youtube videos.
Seems like ABS parts are quite expensive.
Using Torque Light, with my cell phone, I've
been able to see and extinguish
Check Engine Light codes.
But with this ABS light on, it
doesn't show any error codes at all.
Q1:
Is there an ODB2 scanner that will be able to
scan my 1996 Honda ABS codes? If so,
which ones, or which do you recommend?
Q2:
For my vintage of Accord, what are the
common points of ABS failure?
Thanks a lot!

Here's an update
The local garage pulled the code from the
connector under the dash. It was
code 13

1 3 high pressure leakage
...
This post by coolswimmerjon

suggests that the solution is to change the o rings:
ABS accumulator O-ring (#22, part #57072-ST5-003) and
ABS pump O-ring (#23, part #57315-ST5-003).
...
Does anyone have any other ideas?
Thanks

Here's another update.
When I would start the car, the
ABS motor would go off for a few seconds
Then stop
Then repeat
With the car still in park, I was
able to touch the ABS, and confirm the
noise was coming from there.
Eventually the ABS light would come on, and the
ABS motor stopped making noise.
The crazy thing is, there was some snow
recently. After starting and driving away, I
braked, and the ABS engaged correctly!
In the fuse box, I've pulled the ABS motor relay
"fuse". Someone suggested that otherwise, the
ABS motor might burn out.
Now, the ABS light is on, but there is
no more ABS motor noise
