Default Spoon / Vision Rear strut bar install with interior installed

Anybody have any suggestions as to how to keep the rear interior plastics as intact as possible while installing this bar? It seems like the Spoon designed bar wasn’t designed well, the base plate is very large and extents out past the shock tower metal by an inch or so - this then interferes with the interior plastics going back in place.

So far I’ve cut slowly to try to minimize the cutting, but after getting to here it appears you would likely have to make a horizontal slot of about 1/2” in order to allow the plastics to slide over the baseplate.

I’m hoping someone out there has done this before and may have an easier / cleaner way. Thanks

You already cut them, too late to go back.

I cut the driver side only, they definitely need to be cut no matter what, I’m just trying to understand if there is a preferred way to do the cutting.
