My 2015 Crosstour was recently broken into and apparently the alarm did not go off. I was sure I set the alarm by double-pushing the 'lock' button on the fob, but somehow a thief got into the car without the alarm going off. I was able to pull some camera footage from where the theft occurred, but the thief's car was blocking some of the view of the drivers side door. After inspection, it appears that the door lock was tampered with and the key slot is now turned to 45 deg to the right. Does any one know how they could have gotten in without the alarm going off? Does the door need opened before it alarms? Can you put the windows down from the door lock?

What is strange, is that all of the windows were up when I found out it was broken into. The only damage was the door lock. Any insight is appreciated. Taking the car to Honda service next week to get the lock replaced. Very weird.
