With gas prices the way they currently are, I've been commuting in a hand-me-down 2012 Civic Hybrid. It has run fine, just needing the regular maintenance items until recently. The ac started making a lot of noise, went to replace the compressor clutch but the bearing had really seized onto the snout of the compressor. During the removal the compressor was damaged. I ended up replacing the belt with a shorter one that bypasses the air-conditioner in order to continue driving while saving money for a new expensive hybrid compressor.

Long story short, Was driving today and while coming to a stop, the car felt like it surged and stopped long. Then these 3 messages popped up on the IMID
Check Brake System
Check IMA system
Check Brake System

Any information would be helpful. Seems like I've found plenty of info on 8th gen Civic Hybrids and 9th gen non-hybrids, but nothing on the 9th gen Hybrid. Any links to a shop manual?

 

Check your 12v battery. Very likely is is at the end of its life. We see the same symptoms on the CR-Z using the same hybrid technology.
