I lost the keys to my 99 Honda Accord and found another set of keys to another Honda that we previously owned thought they were the keys for this car and they weren't but they still worked in the ignition started the car a couple of times now the Green Key light comes on and just continues to flash and the vehicle turns and turns and turns but will not start now does anyone know what the ignition immobilizer brake code is for this year model vehicle or any way that I can get my vehicle to start now thank you

 

You will need to contact a Honda dealership for that brake code.

Be warned those brake codes are not super reliable if they even have one for your age of vehicle.

 

When I had a 1999 Accord a hardware store couldn't make a good key copy. The original was dull and worn. Went to the Honda dealership and they made a key based on the VIN. You need to provide proof your the owner.

 

your Accord has a key immobilizer. The green key indicator on the dash means one of two things: the ignition ring needs to be replaced or the wrong key has been inserted. Your issue is THE LATTER.
