Post B16 Turbo Advice

Hello guys, I recently obtained an EM1 and looking to boost it.

I am seeking out recommendations for full turbo kits, or parts recommendations for a custom setup.

I do have novice experience in tig welding and have basic fabrication abilities.

I am looking to make around 250-300 hp using the stock b16a2 with around 150,000 miles.

Reliability is my main goal and I am looking to spend around $1000-$2000.

Thank you for your help!

Honestly you're going to struggle to find a good quality kit that gives you reliability for the price you're looking to spend. My recommendation is to double your budget and buy the Go-Autoworks street kit ($2,300), some Bosch EV14 1000 cc/min fuel injectors ($300), a Walbro 450 fuel pump ($150), Hondata S300 ($500) and a dyno tuning session ($450).

if the car still drives fine, just put some wheels and coilovers and enjoy it. Unless you are getting a killer deal, you're not going to get anything decent for that low of a budget.
