Default P72 ecu ridiculously expensive

Why?? P28 is sub $200, p72 is $800. Wtf??

Are there cost effective alternatives to the p72? Ebay seems to offer servicing of ecu's. Does anyone have any experience with this?

my current ecu is p72 with an s200 installed. But i am afraid it is flaking out.

If you are not using a stock GSR intake manifold, a P72 ECU would not be necessary. A knock sensor circuit would be optional... it can be turned off in the tune.
