2013 Civic Si Coupe Front Speakers Cutting Out
I am looking for help with my speakers. i have tried to figure out the issue my self but am unable to.
I have the 2013 Civic Si Coupe.
Sony xav-ax3000 deck
rockford door speakers
aftermarket tweeters
rear speakers are stock
(Sub, Amp and Cap) have not been affected
my problem is that all four of my front speakers are cutting in and out at the same time. (Door and tweeters)9
recently noticed that when i turn or go over bumps they will go in and out more often. so i was really thing connection issues
so because they were cutting out i started trying to test to see the problem. i first assumed a loose wire somewhere or water damage to the stock amp or crossover. The left speakers are wired different from the right speakers but they always go out together. When they come back in they dont sound blown at all.
tested the deck and also checked wires behind deck.
checked wires at the stock amp (under the steering wheel).
not sure if there is a crossover stock that i might be missing to check.
opened my door panels to check for water damage or loose connections.
i always listen to my music loud. (If that matters)
i had the stock radio removed for an aftermarket one at a shop so i can have a screen with gps.
also have sub and amp that still work when this happens.
just notice one rear speaker is not working at all but not sure if its related
but my other rear speaker works when the front cuts off
Stock sub is not hooked up
Aftermarket sub does not cut off when the front does
i think im out of ideas.. im not sure what can make 4 speakers to cut off at the same time. anyone got any ideas i could try anything at this point helps. almost ready to take it to a shop but if the speakers do not cut out for them how can they fix it?
