91 Accord Clutch Replacement
I'm trying to decide if my old '91 is worth the time and effort to resurrect. She's got about 200k miles on her but pretty clean. Before I failed to stop and wrecked the front end shifting was getting a little touchy.
How many hours to replace the pressure plate in the clutch?
Beginning to think I'm too old to waste my life fixing old wrecks.

Older thread, but i still wanted to get you an answer.
Back in my prime and plenty of experience, i could replace a clutch in one day (87-89). The 90-93 takes a couple more hours than the previous series Hondas. I would plan on two solid days of work + the time it takes to get the flywheel turned or replaced depending on what shape it is in and depending on your experience.
Poor shifting could be due to low transmission fluid, or it having only been changed the one time the clutch had been replaced. It could come out of it and start shifting better with new fluid but you will most likely still have a small grind going into 3rd.
You can still get close to 100k more miles out of the car.3+ years?
Things to watch for would be cv axle input seals if damaged while installing the axles and make sure eh rear main seal is not leaking on the engine, though i have never had an issue with either. *A cheap clutch will give you clutch chatter and a throwout bearing that will make noise in the near future (Chinese bearing), so get at least a decent kit from Napa etc.

I noticed replacing one of my engine mounts helped with my clutch chatter, so I'm replacing the other 3 before i do anything with the clutch (I know at least one other mount is bad for sure). Bookmarking this thread for the advice given just in case.
