Was a great car
Due to a job change no longer having a company van and a long commute I traded in my 1999 Accord. Had work done on it during the 3 years I had it, but they were typical things that just wear or rust out such as brake lines and fuel lines. Most of my commute is highway. The EPA rates the '99 with the 5 speed manual transmission at 28 mpg highway. I was averaging 33-34 mpg. I certainly considered a new Accord, but wanted AWD. I didn't pay much for my '99 Accord and it served me very well. I'll still see a fair amount of gen 6 Accords on the road. Not many others of that era except maybe for Toyota Camrys.
